I am a professional web designer who enjoys creating pretty pictures in her spare time. I am active in a few web design and artistic communities, including PWA, PaganIDEA, Renderosity and Raunchy Minds.

I always loved creating images, and later on, I studied design in University. Digital media provided the perfect mix for my love of computers and image creation. This has branched out in two: my strictly professional activity with my day job, and Cheshire Woods Web Design, and my free web graphics and gallery here.

I live in the South coast of England with my husband and two cats, and I am available for commissions.

About the graphics, sets and layouts

All of the graphics, sets and layouts were created purely by me, using a variety of tools, among others Photoshop, Poser and Dreamweaver. No tubes, scans or "snags" were used; this site features 100% original work both in images and code, which guarantees that if you pick a set, you are not going to find the same look or the same image anywhere else.

All my programs are legitimate, bought from and registered with the manufacturers for commercial use.

About this site

This site was created using a combination of hand-coding, Dreamweaver and Photoshop, and was tested in both PC and Macs, using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, and Safari.

While every effort was taken to make the site compatible with all browsers, there are certain differences in the way it displays, particularly in Internet Explorer for the Mac. The site is still usable, but there is a degradation of the quality of the layout. It is not feasible to set up a different site or stylesheet for a browser that hasn't seen any development for a while now, and won't be continued. If the quirk in the display bothers you, I would suggest you download and install a browser in active development like Firefox or Safari.

This site uses Cascading Style Sheets, XHTML 1.0 and was checked to verify its compliance with accessibility guidelines.
